Agents and commissions
Each agent has a contract with defined authority: the system checks whether the agent is allowed to write a specific policy. Commission is accrued when the premium is received and reversed on cancellation within the clawback window, and the statement is built from these accruals.

Frequently asked questions
How is the agent’s authority checked?
Before a policy is issued, the system checks the product and terms against the agent contract. Without authority, the policy is not issued.
What happens to the commission on cancellation?
The commission is reversed if the cancellation falls within the clawback window of the commission scheme.
Can agent statements be exported?
Yes. The statement is built from the accruals for the period and exported for signing.
